By posting content on the Platform, you grant AskGen a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content for the purpose of operating the Platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using AskGen ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and AskGen.
2. User Accounts
To use certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Keep your account information updated
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
3. Event Listings
If you create events on the Platform, you agree to:
- Provide accurate event information
- Honor all commitments to attendees
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations
- Not create events promoting hate speech or discrimination
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses
4. Payments & Fees
We use Paystack for payment processing. Organizers may be charged fees for using the Platform's payment processing services. All fees are clearly displayed before you confirm a transaction.
Fee Structure:
- Free Plan: No monthly fee, 2.5% transaction fee
- Professional Plan: KES 499/month, 2% transaction fee
- Enterprise Plan: KES 999/month, 1.5% transaction fee
5. Refund Policy
Refunds for events are handled by the event organizer. AskGen may, at its discretion, process refunds in cases of organizer misconduct or Platform errors. For subscription plans, refunds are handled according to our cancellation policy.
7. Prohibited Activities
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on others' intellectual property rights
- Transmit malware or harmful code
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Interfere with the Platform's operation
8. Limitation of Liability
AskGen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Platform.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Platform.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Kenya, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
